It’s a Tyre!
It is the part of your vehicle made of engineered rubber and helps your car move more practically. The rubber holds onto the road to prevent your car from sliding or skidding. It works like roller skating where a simple push can get you farther. Before the existence of cars, people back then would use cattle and horses to travel and haul their goods. Cars now do not require a push, but they do need tyres to move.
It Is Your Wheel
A wheel is a rounded piece in your vehicle stuck to a hub and an axle that does not include the mag and tyre. The hub or the mounting assembly is the part that lets the round piece of the wheel secure itself onto the axle. It usually has a hubcap that protects it and keeps it in place.
Moreover, the wheel existed way before the invention of tyres. The creators back then used the wheel to make ploughs, carriages and old-fashioned tractors. The primary function of the wheel was to ease the movement, which made travelling easier and more affordable compared to riding a horse.
Mag, It Is
Whenever you are talking to your friends regarding your vehicle, the word mag rarely comes up. Most are unaware that the name comes from the word magnesium, even though it also contains aluminium. The reason behind the combination is that manufacturers can easily bend and mould aluminium into various shapes, while magnesium gives it extra strength.
Whenever you experience a vehicular problem, the mechanic would want to know exactly what is wrong with your ride. By using the right terms, you can communicate with the technician effectively.
